Mission - Heroes Healing Heroes ©

The American Heroes Motorcycle Association, founded by Bubba and The Counselor to bring together service members from various disciplines but with overall similar background. Bubba is a Desert Storm Veteran. The Counselor has over 20 years between healthcare, public safety and EMS.

As veterans, we donned our uniform to protect, serve and keep our country safe, usually on foreign soil while our first responders kept our families safe by patrolling the streets, providing fire and medical services in our community.  "We" who continue to dedicate our life to helping others, serving others, promoting brother and sisterhood, healing and family share the same troubles and desires.

We all experience similar issues and feel that we are stronger under 1 patch. There is a lot of focus on 'awareness' well, we want to 'do', there is plenty of awareness of veteran and first responder suicide - it is time to act. Our goal is to bring people together, provide resources and training to help each other. There is a wealth of resources for managing PTS and other service related issues however, we feel that the first line of defense that stands between us and PTS lies with us.  It's time that "We" stand in unity under one patch.

Family is Essential

We are a full family Association

We understand the family dynamic and the impact PTS and TBI has on the spouse, children, friends and coworkers.

Spouses and children have been known to develop secondary trauma and caregiver fatigue or burn out, there are not enough resources available to them. There has been an increase in awareness, but we “DO”. We are out in the community, we provide peer support, we are always looking for ways to help our brothers and sisters and their family members through resources, partnerships, collaboration with other organizations, peer support, education and fundraising to help with training of our members and initiatives. We also know multiple sides of this as many of us are service-members and the spouses of, even children of service-members so that gives us unique insight to various perspectives.
